THE TEAM

JULIO LOPEZ VELASQUEZ - Chief executive officer

Julio is an Executive Producer, Producer, and Actor. He is the CEO of Intuition Films' financial partner Tomorrowland Production Company. He began his journey in San Francisco at The Meisner Technique Studio where he graduated from the two year intensive acting program and continues to build his body of work in both San Francisco and Los Angeles productions. You can see him in the upcoming film "Wolf Mother," Directed by Erik Peter Carlson.  Julio recently finished a San Francisco production of "Lake Boat," the world renowned play written by David Mamet.

NICK FRANGIONE - chief operating officer

In 2017, Nick directed BUCK RUN, an atmospheric drama set in his hometown of rural Pennsylvania, with the incredible cast of James Le Gros (CERTAIN WOMEN), Kevin J. O'Connor (THERE WILL BE BLOOD), Amy Hargreaves (13 REASONS WHY), Alicia Goranson (ROSEANNE), Jim Parrack (FURY), Angus Macfadyen (BRAVEHEART), and starring Nolan Lyons (BOARDWALK EMPIRE). Frangione infused the film with his own childhood experience, which closely resembled that of Buck Run's 15-year-old lead character, delicately exploring teen grief, life in small-town America, and the fallibility of parental love.

Frangione studied under Sundance winning filmmaker Eric Escobar in San Francisco. With Eric's guidance, Frangione experimented in short-film form followed by his thesis film, ROXIE. Nick would pen the ROXIE script and direct the film.

Tommy Cook of Collider.com had this to say of ROXIE after it's showing at Sonoma International Film Festival:

"'Roxie,' at its heart, is a tragedy about lives spent reliving the past, an unmasking of the harsh realities of time and aging, on the need for a real connection and how any false one inherently corrupts and leaves you bare. It's a testament...to how even the smallest of films can possess the greatest ambitions. It was, by far, the best film I saw during my stay at Sonoma."

NANCY DEGNAN - chief financial officer

Actor/Producer Nancy Degnan started as an actress at the age of 15 starring in plays such as Eugene O’Neill’s  ‘Mourning Becomes Electra,’ ‘Antigone’, and ‘Romeo and Juliet’. She went on to study in San Francisco at the American Conservatory Theater, and then The Meisner Technique Studio, where she completed a 2-year intensive program with Jim Jarrett. Jarrett is one of just a handful of teachers in the world given the blessing to teach the Meisner Technique by Sanford Meisner himself.

Recently transplanted to Los Angeles, Nancy landed the lead role in Epsilon Theater Company’s production of ‘Spike Heels’ by Theresa Rebeck, and the lead female role in Stephen Belber’s ‘TAPE’. She began her Producing career as an Executive Assistant for a Chief Financial Officer of an independent production company, moving on to become CFO of Intuition FIlms.
