NICK FRANGIONE - chief operating officer
Director/Screenwriter/Actor Nick Frangione studied under Sundance winning filmmaker Eric Escobar in San Francisco. With Eric's guidance, Frangione completed his first short film, HAND ME DOWN, which toured the festival circuit. With this experience under his belt, Frangione ventured out on his own and made his second short film, I'M A LIAR LIKE YOU, shortly followed by his first feature film, ROXIE. Nick would pen the ROXIE script and direct the film. ROXIE won Best Feature Film at The Bushwick International Film Festival in New York City, and was Official Selection for AMFM International Film Festival as well as the prestigious Sonoma International Film Festival. Tommy Cook, of Collider.com, had this to say of ROXIE:
"Roxie, at it's heart, is a tragedy about lives spent reliving the past, an unmasking of the harsh realities of time and aging, on the need for a real connection and how any false one inherently corrupts and leaves you bare. It's a testament...how even the smallest of films can possess the greatest ambitions. It was, by far, the best film I saw during my stay at Sonoma."
ROXIE had it's theatrical release at The Arena Cinema in Hollywood, and is now available on all streaming platforms as well as BluRay and DVD. The film was recently picked up for theatrical release in multiple theaters in the UK.
Frangione has accomplished much behind the camera as well. His supporting role in STRAPPED earned him a mention in the New York Times. You can see him in THE TOY SOLDIERS, which hit AMC Theaters across the country and is now streaming on multiple platforms . He can also be seen playing Gary Hinman in the upcoming film, BIGGER THAN THE BEATLES, coming next year, and as Dan in the film WOLF MOTHER, where he played opposite Golden Globe Nominated actor Tom Sizemore.
